I’ve found myself listening to Gabriel’s Oboe from the film The Mission over and over again in this last week – As I mentioned in my post called The Mission which I posted last year, I love this music and find the whole story of the film very inspiring (my post from last year give you details of what the film is about).
So in the car this week I’ve been listening to a compilation CD which includes Bellshill Band of the Salvation Army playing Gabriel’s Oboe, plus at work I’ve been listening to the same music on my ipod when possible – In both situations I’ve found myself just replaying this music over and over again.
As well as listening to this music from The Mission over and over again, I’ve found myself thinking about what God wants me to achieve in my life. i.e. What God’s mission for my life is.
Do you believe God has a mission for you? Are you following God’s plan for your life?
I am trying to follow God’s plan for my life, however I feel over the past while I seem to be doing my own thing, rather that God’s thing, and to be honest that worries me greatly.
So what do I need to do get back on track? Well, the answer to most things…pray!
I have already started praying for God to help me get back on His track for my life, so that I can do His will.
I pray that you too will ask God to help you follow His path for your life.
Psalm 25:4 (NIV)
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths;
