I’m sure you’ve probably heard the following prayer many times before:
God let me accept the things I can’t change, courage to change things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
It can be difficult to accept some things that happen in life can’t it? However, if there’s nothing we can do to change the situation or event, why is it that we can often spend so much time complaining about things, or showing our frustration about current circumstances?
The answer to that question is of course…because we’re human!
It’s be because we are human, and therefore sinners, that we must continue to ask God to help us to accept the things of life which we cannot change.
