Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them ~ Psalm 10:17
There are many people in this world who feel helpless, helpless to help others, and sometimes even feel their own life is helpless. For someone to feel helpless they must be at their very lowest emotionally, and that is awful.
In the above verse from Psalm the says “surely you will hear their cries and comfort them”, well I’d like to change those words to more positive ones by saying
God will hear their cries and He will comfort them
It’s not a case of whether God will comfort them or not, because that is never in doubt, because God has promised to be with us and help us always. So if you feel your life is helpless or you feel helpless to help others, don’t despair, because God will hear your prayers and will help.
