Testify To Love by Avalon

All the colours of the rainbow
All of voices of the wind
Every dream that reaches out
That reaches out to find where love begins
Every word of every story
Every star in every sky
Every corner of creation lives to testify
For as long as I shall live
I will testify to love
I’ll be a witness in the silences when words are not enough
With every breath I take I will give thanks to God above
For as long as I shall live
I will testify to love
From the mountains to the valleys
From the rivers to the sea
Every hand that reaches out
Every hand that reaches out to offer peace
Every simple act of mercy
Every step to kingdom come
All the Hope in every heart will speak what love has done.

How about you, will you testify to love for as long as you live?

I will do my best to testify for God for the rest of my live, but I know I will only be able to achieve this with God’s help. That is why I pray each day that He will continue to help and guide me each day.

Here are five things you probably didn’t know or never really thought about:Love

  1. At least five people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
  2. If not for you, someone may not be living.
  3. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.
  4.  A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.
  5. You are special and unique.

I particularly like #5 as this reminds us of exactly how God considers us…special and unique, just the way He made us!

During my wandering through the internet over the last while, I’ve come across a lot of statements and quotes about relationships. So today I’d like to share with you some of those I particularly liked:

  1.  i-love-youIn life you’ll realize there is a purpose for everyone you meet.  Some will test you, some will use you, and some will teach you. But most importantly, some will bring out the best in you.
  2. Keep the people in your life who truly love you, motivate you, encourage you, enhance you, and make you happy.  If you have others in your life who do none of these things, let them go.
  3. Being alone does not mean you are lonely, and being lonely does not mean you are alone.
  4. Love means giving someone the chance to hurt you, but trusting them not to.
  5. You know you’ve found true love when you catch yourself falling in love with the same person over and over again.
  6. Someone else doesn’t have to be wrong for you to be right.
  7. Never do something permanently foolish just because you are temporarily upset.
  8. It’s not so much what you say that counts, it’s how you make people feel.
  9.  Falling in love is not a choice.  To stay in love is.
  10. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness.  So let them go!

My personal favourites from the above list are #4 and #5. #5 in particular brings a smile to my face as I can personally say I’ve experienced this one!

volumeYou ever noticed how some people seem to use the same volume of voice regardless of whether they’re indoors or outdoors, or whether they are right beside you or at the other side of the room.

I don’t know about you but I find it very irritating when people talk very loudly all the time when there is no medical reason for them doing so.

When your trying to concentrate on something yourself but all you can hear is “the voice” talking to someone else, it makes it very difficult to stay focused and anything done properly.

So if there’s one thing I wish God has had fitted to us all, it’s a volume control that you couldn’t use yourself, but others could!

What’s the best news you’ve ever been given? Maybe the news that you’ve passed your exams, or someone you care about telling you they love you?

Those things may be great news, but the best news that you will ever come to acknowledge, is that God loves you!

God’s love is unconditional unlike the love we experience from so many people during our lives. You don’t even need to do anything for God to love you, because before you were even born, God knew you and promised to love you always.

How Loved Am I by Lara Martin

O Lord, you are my keeper,
I will never be in want;
You hold me close, so tender,
And quiet me with love.
And I hear You singing over me,
I hear You singing over me.

Songs of countless promises,
Like kisses from heaven they fall.
‘How loved am I.’
Songs that take me to higher heights,
Such favour I know is divine.
‘How loved am I, how loved am I.’

O Lord, You are my keeper,
My heart is safe with You.
Though in life there will be valleys,
You take my hand and lead me through.

Put a smile on your face whether you feel like it or not.  If you smile on purpose you may end up laughing a lot ~  Joyce Meyer

It’s true isn’t it, smiling/laughing can be infectious can’t it. Therefore whether you have a heavy heart, or life couldn’t be better for you…keep smiling, because as they say…

Smile and the world smiles with you

We are often told that we should live life to the full because we never know what’s round the corner for us in life. Maybe that’s why we should be more careful about the things we can never recover:

  1.  A stone…after it’s thrownenjoy-life
  2. A word…after it is said
  3. An occasion…after it’s missed
  4. The time…after it’s gone
  5. A person…after they die.

Life is short.

Break the rules.

Forgive quickly.

Kiss slowly.

Love truly.

Laugh uncontrollably.

And never regret anything that made you smile, enjoy life to the full.

When it come to courage, would you consider yourself to be as courageous as a lion or as timid as a mouse?

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is a quiet voice at the end of the day, saying, “I will try again tomorrow.” ~ Mary Anne Radmacher

Sometimes when times are tough, to be courageous and strong, requires great self-composure and silence, so you can listen.

Courage isn’t always about physical strength as we often need courage to face difficult situations which do not require physical strength but mental strength. Therefore whether you are a loud roaring lion or a timid quiet mouse, we each possess all the qualities to be courageous.

People need loving the most when they deserve it the least – John Harrison

Do you think there’s a reason why those most in need of love seem to be the ones who least deserve it?

Probably! If you’ve never experienced true love, and the peace and joy that can bring, how can we think they’ll understand how to treat and respect others.

I’m sure we can all think of people we know personally as well as people those we hear about in the news or on the television. But just because we don;t think someone deserves to be loved, it probably the biggest reason why we should in fact love them!

Love-Me-When-I-Least-Deserve-It

God loves each and every one of us, no matter how many wrongs we’ve committed or whether we believe in Him or not. And that folks, is exactly the reason why we must love everyone, especially those who seem to be unloveable.

It’s good to know that you don’t need to struggle through life on your own. That even during your darkest of times, God will stay by your side and will carry you through…

He is my strength and He carries when I have no strength left.

Thank you God.
