Life can be a frightening experience at times, particularly during times of uncertainty. It’s also during times of uncertainty that we need our faith to be at its strongest. However, it’s often when times are tough for us that we question our faith and question God’s love for us.
Don’t let life’s problems weigh you down, stay strong and keep believing in Christ.
My thoughts for today are summed up nicely by the following quote I came across recently:
Both faith and fear may sail into your harbour, but allow only faith to drop anchor.
When we talk about rain, we think about wet stuff falling on us which isn’t a great experience. However when we talk about God‘s reign, yes we want God’s love to fall down on us, but unlike rain that will be a wonderful experience .
As a Christian, my desire is that God will reign over all the world and that the whole world will rise as one and praise His name. So let’s get started today by spreading God’s message to the people we meet, so that one day soon He will reign victorious over all of us!
Love that is hoarded moulds at length; Until we know some day The only thing we ever had Is what we give away.
And kindness that is never used But hidden all alone, Will slowly harden till it is As hard as any stone.
It is the things we always hold That we lose day by day; The only things we ever keep Are what we give away.
Written by Louis Ginsberg
God didn’t put us on this earth to keep our love to ourselves. He put us here to share our love, His love, with those we come into contact with.
Do you share your love, God’s love, with those you meet?
It can be hard to tolerate some people when encounter in our daily life, however God expects us to love them just as much as we do our family and friends.
I pray that God will help each of us to be more tolerant of others no matter who they are or what they have done.
God will help us to love the unloveable, so share some love today!
We live in a world full were every time we put on the television or radio, all we hear about is war, famine, murder, homelessness, etc. It’s depressing isn’t it?
We live in a world full of negatives, despair, insanity…we live in a world that doesn’t know God!

As Christians it’s our responsibility to help the world find God again.
We must pray for each other; We must pray for our friendships, our families, our neighbours; We must pray for our national and international political leaders; We must pray for our church leaders.
Our world is in darkness, so let all pray and get this world into the light of God’s love!
I’ve come across people who having found out I’m a Christian, have made comments such as, ”it’s alright for you, your life is easy” or “you don’t have to face the same pain and struggles we have to”.
Why is it that non-Christians sometimes seem to belive that Christians have an easy life, that Christians don’t face the same pain and struggles everyone else does. How wrong this is!
Christians are just like every other person, we have suffer pain and grief, we struggle with what life throws our way, we laugh and we cry just like everyone else.
The one thing that does make us Christians “different” is that when we suffer pain or are struggling, we continue to rely on God to be our strength. We believe God is always with us, and is always guiding us through this journey we call life.
God can make it that little bit easier to face all life throws your way, so put your trust in Him today.
