fake-doctorsI don’t know about you, but if there’s one thing that annoys me, it’s people who are not doctors, who think just because they are employed by the health service, that they can give others medical advice.

To those of you are not qualified doctors (or nurses), please stop giving out medical advise to others as you are playing with people’s lives! You don’t know people’s medical history or in fact anything about any medical condition, so please do not try to tell others what medication they should be taking or what treatment they should seek, as you may quite literally kill them with your advise!

To those of you who seek or get medical advice from friends/colleagues/neighbours etc who are not qualified doctors (or nurses), please disregard any advise these people may give you no matter how knowledgeable they seem, or how much you trust them, as they have no medical qualifications so have no grounds to give you advise on medication or treatment. Just remember that self-medicating or treating some illnesses yourself, may cause you serious harm.
