The world is in need of God, so God needs us to tell the world of His love. Do you believe that we can win the world for God?
Of course we can, however we must have faith to achieve the victory!

We can all be guilty of jumping straight in with words, decisions, actions, without thinking about the consequences (regardless of whether positive or negative). That is why when I came across this picture it really struck home with me.
At the end of the day everything comes back to prayer doesn’t it!
Ever wondered why sometimes it seems a real struggle to pray…Whether it’s finding words to express what’s on your mind or in your heart, or you are so busy doing other things that you don’t even bother to make time to pray?
You’ll be glad to hear there is a reason for this…
Don’t let Satan get the better of you by stopping you from praying, by praying, then praying again. So get praying!
Sometimes we all just want a bit of peace and quiet, with no interruptions from anyone or anything. That doesn’t mean we don’t care about anyone else, it simply means we’re exhausted physically and/or emotionally and need a break so we can try to relax for a short while before we get caught up in the rush of life again.
Over these last few months I’ve become more aware of how different we all are in terms of whether we feel too hot, just right or too cold. i.e. One person can be opening the window to let some cool air in because they are too hot, while the next person is pulling on a jumper and turning on their heater on because they’re cold.
Just as we are all different when it comes to how hot or cold we feel physically, so we can all be at different temperatures in our prayer life too. That may not make much sense until you read the following quote from Charles Spurgeon, which to me it explains it perfectly:
We can all be very judgemental of others at times simply because of what we see when we look at them. However what we see of people in public is often just a small part of them, so remember what you see of someone is probably not the “real” person.
Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who love beyond all faults, cry behind closed doors and fight battles that nobody knows about. ~ Nicky Gumbel
Struggles in life can be hard at the time, but they definitely make us stronger people, and make us the person we are today. Don’t judge someone by what you see, as they may be fighting some battles in private, behind closed doors.
Romans 8:18
The pain that you’ve been feeling, can’t compare the to joy that’s coming.
Do you believe that?
Sometimes we can be so caught up in what’s going on in our lives just now, that we forget there is a tomorrow, and with God there is the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
So whatever is happening just now, stay positive, because you will find joy in your life again.
Are you looking for simple ways to encourage your heart and nourish your soul?
In the last while I’ve given you some ideas which will hopefully inspire you to implement them in your own life, and over the coming weeks I’ll share some others with you.
So here’s today’s suggestion:
De-clutter
Clutter can be a reminder of things that need to be done, spurring a feeling of failure, so cheer yourself and your day quickly by straightening out of cupboard or a bench.
If you want to go a bit further, why not tackle your wardrobe as I’m sure if you’re anything like me, you’ll have things in your wardrobe you kept, “just in case it fits me again sometime“, even though realistically I know, it’s not going to happen.
Even just sorting your things into some kind of order rather than the cluttered chaos it currently is, will give you the illusion of de-cluttering without throwing anything out!
