If you see someone in need, do you stop and help or do you walk past, or look the other way and keep walking?

Maybe you feel you’re too busy to stop and help others, but what if we all consider ourselves ‘too busy’ to help? We can’t assume someone else will take the time to stop and help, so we need to make the time to help.

Stopping to help someone doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to have to give up loads of your time, as it can be the simple act of asking someone if they’re ok that helps someone; or carrying a bag of shopping to for an older person, to their car; or giving a homeless person a sandwich and a hot drink.

We need to stop rushing around at 100 miles an hour, and take time out to look around ourselves, and really see those who are in need. We can then take time to make a difference, by helping those who need help.
