Review your Christmas

Christmas Day may now seem like a distant memory to you, especially if you’re already back at work. But  what kind of Christmas Day did you have – Here’s some words/phrases that may or may not describe your Christmas Day

  • I cooked Christmas dinner
  • Lots of family visited
  • I visited family
  • I went out at a restaurant for Christmas dinner with family
  • I got all the gifts I’d hoped for
  • I only got one present
  • I didn’t get what I wanted for Christmas
  • I spent the day with people I love
  • I spent the day on my own

For some, I’m sure your Christmas Day was better than you had hoped for, while for others it was a probably a day filled with sadness – possibly because their thoughts turned to those who have passed away, or your gifts weren’t what you hoped for, or you simply felt so very alone.

Christmas Day is a day when we should be celebrating with family and close friends. It’s a day when we should be celebrating the birth of the Saviour of the world, Jesus. Unfortunately not everyone has friends and family to share the joy of Christmas with, but no matter who you spent your Christmas Day with (or without), did you thank God for the gift of His Son on that first Christmas Day?

  1. Thank you for God for your gift beyond words. Thank you for God for your gift beyond words. We thank you for giving us Jesus. Thank you for God for your gift beyond words. (Salvation Army) For the joys and for the sorrows, the best and worst of times. For each moment, for tomorrow, for all that lies behind. Fears the crowd around me etc … For this I have Jesus. For this I have Jesus. For this I have Jesus. I have Jesus. For the weakness of my body, for the passing years etc … The need for reassurance, the will to start again, a steely eyed endurance, the strength to fight and win. For this I have Jesus. For this I have Jesus. For this I have Jesus. I have Jesus. (Salvation Army)

  2. This is how I fight by battles. This is how I fight by battles. This is how I fight by battles. (This is how) This is how I fight by battles. This is how I fight by battles. This is how I fight by battles. (This is how) It may look like I’m surrounded but I’m surrounded by you. It may look like I’m surrounded but I’m surrounded by you. This is how I fight my battles etc … (Victory Church)

    1. Sorry but I don’t understand your comment, as not sure how the song lyrics you posted fit with the message I’ve tried to convey in my blog post.

  3. Yvonne, Wot u talking about? You constantly give song lyrics that are nothing to do with wot Dot’s posts are about. U wanna share song lyrics? Get ur own website and share them there. Don’t post them on sumone elses website, as ur making a fool of yourself.

This is another grate post by Dot but again Im talking about Yvonnes comments as they make no sense, rather than commenting and sharing the challenging post Dots shared.

Dot keep writing such inspiring and challenging posts.
Yvonne stop sharing random song lyrics on here as their unhelpful and don’t show u in a grate light.
