Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ESV)
It might always be the right time to pray, but how can we pray all the time when we have our lives to live? We don’t need to take the above words from Thessalonians quite so literally – We need to remember that prayer isn’t something we should just ‘fit in’ to our daily lives. Instead it should be something we want to do whenever a situation, event or person warrants us to pray for it/them.
Prayer should be the first thing we do in every situation, not just the last thing we do when we go through difficult times in our lives.
