Time, clock, watch.

Time is the same no matter how busy you  are or how relaxed you are.

Tick tock the clock need stops.

The minutes and hours speed by.

The days, weeks and months are over before we’ve even got used to which day we’re on.

Time stops for nothing or for anything,

Then you find you’re watching the clock and the complete opposite happens!

Time seems to stand still – tick…tock,,,

There’s nothing any of us can do to speed up time,,,tick,,,,tock…has the clock stopped?

The next stage is clear, keep going…the clock marches on.

Time, clock, watch…make the most of your time, as you’ll never get any of it back.

I’ve done a few Word Associations with you over the last while, and today it’s time for another one. So as usual I’m going to throw some words at you, and I want you to note down the first word that comes into your mind when you read each word.

So here goes…

  1. Breakfast
  2. Relationship
  3. Plant
  4. Box
  5. Slipper
  6. Box
  7. Vinyl
  8. Teapot
  9. Condemn
  10. Graphitewords

So how did you get on with those words? Did you find it easy? Did your answers surprise you or were they just as you expected?

Well here’s my responses to my questions:

  1. Cereal
  2. Friend
  3. Seed
  4. Delivery
  5. Winter
  6. Tick tock
  7. 78
  8. Yorkshire
  9. Fire
  10. Racket

I still believe that when we respond with the first words that come into our minds, our answers tell us a lot about our emotional state, and what’s important to us at that particular point in time.

Bearing all this in mind, review your answers, does my theory hold true?

By the way, if you want me to explain any of my answers, just ask!

Why is it when you’re tired or fed up and can’t wait for a particular time to come so you can you home and chill, it feels like time has stopped?

Tick..tock…tick….tock…..tick……..tock……….tick………….tock…………….

Every clock and watch you look at seems to taunt you by moving extra slowly.

Even although time feels to be going by much slower than normal, you still manage to get less done than normal.

Your brain is not co-operating as no matter how much you try to concentrate on a task to keep you occupied and make time pass quicker, it simply does not happen.

So you finally get a chance to chill and relax, so does time suddenly go back to normal and go by at normal speed again? No! It suddenly decides to play catch-up with the time that passed so slowly! How is that even possible?

We probably just need to make the most of our time, however slowly, or quickly, it decides to pass, as otherwise we’ll stop one day and realise that our life has passed us by and we’ve achieved nothing.

Why do cats chase their own tail?

When you’re looking forward to something, why is it nearly always a complete disappointment?

When you’re in need of some peace and quiet, why is it then that everyone seems to want to talk to you!

Why do cats always want to go into the plastic bag you’re trying to put things in!

Why do we look at our watches so often during the day…try going a whole day without wearing your watch and you’ll see what I mean.

Why is it always a document you’ve spent hours working on that you find has lost the changes you made?

Why do we all get so annoyed and opinionated when we’re watch a football match!

Why do bad things always seem to come in threes?

Why does it always rain on days when you don’t have an umbrella or a jacket?

and finally…

Why am I addicted to blogging!!!
