Some more programming humour today.

Anyone who has ever written code will be able to relate to this I’m sure.

Sorry! 🙂

Some more programming humour today.

Programmers can build loads of useful things, but sometimes we’ve just got to admit it’s not our job

Sometimes we just have to do whatever we can to make sure the demo can go ahead. And not only that, that the demo appears to go well to those we’re doing the demo to.

Be honest, I’m sure we’ve all done demos that aren’t all they appear to be!

I’m sure we’ve also all attended demos from suppliers where we’ve questioned whether their demo is really all it appears to be!

How many times have we heard this from a supplier?

Of course none of the code we write ever has features 🙂

A reminder for all programmers out there!

Always code as if guy who ends up maintaining your code will be a violent psychopath who knows where you live. ~ Martin Golding

It might be a little over the top, but it is true, when you write code, it’s always good practice to make sure you write it in a way that makes it easily understandable to the next person who has the unfortunate task of having to amend it…otherwise your name will become mud!

Happy programming 🙂

Having just taken my Mum shopping tonight after work I thought this was applicable – It’s a wee funny for the IT folk amongst you. I hope you find it as funny as I did!

N.B. This post was not based on my hubby…although I can imagine us having a conversation like that! LOL
