If someone put a spotlight on you and you had to give them details of every part of your life, would you be comfortable? Or would you be happier if you could delete or omit parts of your life that you’re not proud of, maybe because you’ve said/not said or done/not done something?

No matter how much we wish we could delete parts of our lives that we’re not proud of, we can’t! No matter what these things are, even though we may successfully ‘hide’ them from our others around us, we can never hide them from God.

God doesn’t care what we’ve done in our past, because be cares about us so much that he simply cares about our present and our future. Therefore if God can forgive us of our past indiscretions, we should forgive ourselves, and when we do that the burden of carrying those indiscretions/wrongs is lifted from us.

So let God’s spotlight fall on you, and leave your indiscretions with Him.

When we are in trouble or struggling with life, that’s when we are most in need of God. Sadly though, that is often the time when we’re most likely to think God has deserted us.

Why do we think during our most difficult times that God has deserted us when the rest of the time we fully believe God is always with us? Probably because we’re human, and during those times we’re most vulnerable, so the devil finds it easier to get into our lives and our minds.

Keep on believing in God, even through the difficult days.

Many seek peace in these times of turbulence and conflict in this world. If only they could see Jesus is the answer, as He alone can provide peace. It’s therefore up to those of us to believe in Christ, to tell the world about Christ and his love for everyone.
