Breathe

I was reminded by a friend the other night of the beautiful song “Breathe“.

We’d been talking about my blog post on Friday about the beautiful song “Share My Yoke“, http://thedistinctdot.blogspot.com/2009/05/share-my-yoke.html, and how moving that song was – we then spoke of this song and agreed that this is a very moving and inspiring song too.

So much so I felt it was about time I shared it with you!

Wow, it still really moves me! This song always reminds us that no matter how I’m feeling, whatever situations I find myself having to deal with, God is there for me.

The above version of this song is performed by Hillsong. I love this version of the song, although I must confess there are other versions of this song I find equally moving – I’ve also heard a version with a more upbeat tempo too and it’s very good as well.

No matter how desperate our situation, or how dark life seems to us, God is there for us. By accepting God into our lives and living and breathing every minute of every day for Him, we can find true contentment.

Happiness is found by trusting and following God.

Breathe
This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence living in me
This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very word spoken to me
And I I’m desperate for you
And I I’m I’m lost without you
This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence living in me
This is my daily bread
this is my daily bread
your very word spoken to me
And I’m, I’m desperate for you
And I’m, I’m lost without you
And I’m desperate for you
And I’m, I’m lost without you.
I’m lost without you.
I’m lost without you.
I’m desperate for you.
I’m desperate for you.
I’m lost, I’m lost, I’m lost without you.
I’m lost without you
I’m desperate for you
