Wings of Prayer

The Wings of Prayer

Just close your eyes and open your heart,

Feel your worry and cares depart.

Just yield yourself to the Father above,

Let Him hold your secure in His love.

For life on earth grows more involved

With endless problems that can’t be solved.

But, God only asked us to do our best,

Then He will take care of and finish the rest

So when you’re tired, discouraged and feeling blue,

There is always a door open for you,

That is the door to the house of prayer,

You’ll find God waiting to meet you there.

The house of prayer is not further away

Than the quiet place where you kneel to pray

For the heart is a temple when God is there,

When we place ourselves in His loving care.

He hears every prayer, and answers each one,

when we pray in His name~Thy will be done

The burdens that seemed too heavy to bear,

Are lifted away on THE WINGS OF PRAYER

Powerful prayer, but one which can be a personal prayer for every one of us, as God does hear very one of our prayers and he can lift all our burdens from us…all we have to do it lay them at His feet.

Psalm 86:1-2 (NIV)

Hear, O LORD, and answer me,
       for I am poor and needy. 

Guard my life, for I am devoted to you.
       You are my God; save your servant
       who trusts in you.
