I’m a Christian

I’ve found that when some people find out I’m a christian, they seem to think my life somehow becomes immune from all the things others face. Well today I just want to say that, yes, I am a Christian but…

  • I don’t go about shouting it, but I hope my words and actions reflect that I’m a Christian
  • I still struggle with what life throws my way but I know God is with me and will help me through
  • I don’t expect life to be full of roses, I know there will be thorns, but I know they will make me a stronger person
  • I don’t know everything about God, but I am learning more everyday
  • I don’t judge people by their religion, or lack of one, as God is the only person qualified to judge anyone
  • I’m far from perfect, as everyone can see, yet I know God love me
  • I still get ill just like everyone else, but I know God will heal me, if it is His will
  • I feel pain just like everyone else, but God is there to comfort me and give me strength to face the next day

Lifesong by Casting Crowns

Empty hands held high
Such small sacrifice
If not joined with my life
I sing in vain tonight

May the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You

Let my lifesong sing to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
I want to sign Your name to the end of this day
Knowing that my heart was true
Let my lifesong sing to You

Lord I give my life
A living sacrifice
To reach a world in need
To be Your hands and feet

So may the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Let my lifesong sing to You
