You Mean The World

I was looking through my Salvation Army song book yesterday looking for a particular song which had been going through my mind most of the day, when a little card fell out of my song book. Here is what it said:

The kind and special
things you do –
your caring,
thoughtful way
reflect much more
of His great love
than words could
ever say.

Thank you!

I turned the card over where I found it was addressed to me, but unfortunately it didn’t indicate who had given it to me.

This got me thinking, firstly to remember who had given me the card as the words where so beautiful as if I’d really touch someone, but also to thinking about whether there have been other times when I’ve done something special for someone.

We may not always be aware of the times when we have truly “meant the world” to someone, but God knows, and He loves us for it.

I pray that God will use me to make a difference (even just a small one) in someone’s life.

I also pray that I will remember to say “Thank you” to those who “mean the world” to me, as it is great encouragement to know when you have made that kind of difference in someone’s life.

Be that special, caring person today and every day.
