Yesterday in Animals. I spoke about those who abuse and are cruel to animals and/or people.
Today I’d like to continue thinking about the poor animals that are abused. What concerns me is that we see and hear of so many animals that have been abandoned or abused by their owners. This is not acceptable to any normal person.
So where am I going with this post? Well, we are bombarded these days with adverts on the TV from various charities encouraging us to adopt an animal that has been rescued or abandoned. Given this, why are there so many breeders around who make it their business to actually breed animals which they then charge extortionate amounts for people to buy.
Aren’t there enough animals in need of love and a home without actively breeding more animals to order? What’s your view?
