Who?

Any of you who know me well will know that I am really bad at remembering people’s names. I’m fine at recognising people I’ve met before, but don’t expect me to remember their name!

This can often be quite embarrassing as even the names of people I’ve known for ages often escape me. For example, a few years ago at work I often had to show new contractors round our workplace and introduce them to my colleagues. So you know what’s coming next…I totally embarrassed myself several times when introducing the new contractors to my colleagues, by completely forgetting my colleagues names…people I’d worked with for a number of years that I really should have known! – I was totally embarrassed when this happened and often wished the ground would open up and swallow me…unfortunately it never did!

How about you, are you good at remember people’s names? Or are you like me and often forget people’s name’s within minutes of being told it?

As a Christian, I often hope that when I get the opportunity to tell someone about Jesus who is not already a believer, they are not like me and forget Jesus’ name as soon as I tell them about Him.

Let’s all make a promise to God today, to try to ensure that this world does not forget Jesus’ name.
