So I’ve spoken about God‘s faithful to us, and our faithfulness to God, over the last few day, but how about your faithfulness to others…to your partner, children, parents, siblings, friends.
Sometimes I think that we forget that faithfulness is not just something God expects us to show Him, but also to everyone we encounter. i.e. God expects us to be faithful to everyone.
So, are you faithful to everyone you know? It can be difficult sometimes being faithful to others when they expect/want more from us than we feel able to give them. That doesn’t make us bad people, it simply makes us human!
Faith is a confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person.
Faith in others is not something we humans find easy to do – We always require people to earn our trust/faith, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Now take a look at yourself, are you an honest and trustworthy person at all times, thus making it easy for others to have faith in you?
