It’s nice when people thank you for things isn’t it? Having said that it can also be a bit annoying when people say thank you, but because of the way they have said it to you, you know they don’t really mean it or feel they shouldn’t have to say it.
Personally I find it particularly find it very pleasing when people thank me just for doing my job, or for doing things I would expect others to do for me without me having to ask them, or for doing something that I’m happy to do for a friend. How many people do you know that would thank you though in these circumstances, and say it sincerely?
God is just like us, He too likes to be thanked for all He does, so I’m sure we all disappoint Him greatly every day, because I’m sure if we’re all honest we all forget, or don;t think, to thank God each day for all He’s done for us during that day.
Our job is to live our lives for God, but that must include thanking and praising God for all He does for us. Why not make a promise to God today, to thank Him and praise Him each and every day.
