When was the last time you stopped for a few minutes and had a real look around you at the world in which we live? I’m not talking about looking at all the buildings, people or events around us, but nature…God‘s handiwork.
We live in a world where everything is done at 100 miles an hour, where we rush about from one task to another without really stopping for breath, or stopping to take in all that is around us.
God took time and effort to create this world in which we live, so please take a time out from your busy life and just look around you and appreciate all God has created and given us…the sunshine (some of us more than others!), the rain (again some of ou more than others!), rivers, grass, trees, animals, nature in general, then there are our friends and our family, don’t forget God gave us them too!
All Around The World (Keith & Kristyn Getty)
All around the world the Kingdom cry resounds
From mountain town to desert plain,
From city to the shore.
Truth will not be bound by walls upon the earth.
From every nation, tribe and tongue
God calls His people forth
All praise to the King
Of the new Jerusalem
Where all of the saints
With one voice will worship the Lamb
Will forever worship the Lamb
Restless is the world, unchanging is His Word
Unshaken is our confidence
In Christ the Risen Lord
All who bear His name unite to breathe as one
We share the joys and pains we face
And pray ‘His Kingdom come’
Boldly we proclaim the power of the cross
In every language, art and deed
We tell the wonder of grace
Then when Christ returns, His church will rise adorned
With treasure brought from every land
To glorify the Lord
All around the world the Kingdom cry resounds
