If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands!
If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands! <clap> <clap>
If you’re happy and you know it and you really want to show it
If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands! <clap> <clap>
I’m sure we’ve all sung the above song when we were younger. When you sang that when you were young, I bet you clapped your hands.
However if we were asked to sing that song right now, and told we must only clap our hands if we really are happy, how many of us would actually clap?
I suspect there might be a few of us not clapping our hands! Is it that as we’ve grown more mature, we’ve become less happy people? Or simply that we’re more mature and more aware of problems in life?
Whatever our reasons for not clapping now, we can always be assured that God is with us, to help lighten our load and lift our spirits so that we can be happy in His love every day.
