Theses words from Matthew’s Gospel follow on very nicely from my thoughts in yesterday’s blog post Words Can Be Dangerous, where I talked about how it only takes one angry word to hurt and upset others.
Yes our words cam be said in haste and can be remembered for a while, but not forever, other words can be said in earnest and can be instantly forgotten. However all God‘s words and deeds are everlasting. Here we are thousands of years after God created the world and over 2 thousand years since His Son came to earth, yet we are still talking about Him, His words and His deeds…who else is there like that!
