I’ve talked about tolerance a few times in the past, manly because I know I’m not the most tolerant person when it comes to others! I find particularly when I’m tired and stressed I get become less and less tolerant of others. I know that’s no excuse and therefore I pray regularly that God will help me be more patient and tolerant of others.
Just recently I read the following:
It requires less character to discover the faults of others, than to tolerate them ~ J. Petit Senn
This reminded me that we can all very quick to find fault with others, but we are often not so quick to tolerate their faults.
I pray today that we may all show more character by being more willing to tolerate others than find fault with them.
