Christmas Without Christ

Imagine what Christmas would be like if there was no Christ

Imagine what your life would be like without Christ…

I’ve imagined it and I don’t like what I see – A world without Christ we would be a world without hope.

So don’t live your life without hope this Christmas, let Christ be part of your Christmas this year and put the true spirit of Christmas back in our festivities this year!

Here’s Bellshill Band of the Salvation Army playing The Spirit of Christmas:

  1. In letters of crimson God wrote His love on a hillside so long, long ago. For you and for me Jesus died and loves greatest story was told. I love you, I love you and that’s what Calvary said. I love you, I love you, I love you written in red. Down through the ages God wrote His love with the same hands that suffered and bled, giving all He had to give a message so easily read. I love you, I love you and that’s what Calvary said. I love you, I love you, I love you written in red. O precious flow that makes me white as snow. There is no other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. I love you, I love you and that’s what Calvary said. I love you, I love you, I love you written in red. (Salvation Army)

    1. Written in Red was not an original Salvation Army composition. There are TSA arrangements for brass and for vocal. However the song was composed by Jensen Gordon (words & music) – he is a Christian Singer Songwriter.

      1. I am more interested in getting the message out there that God loves them, His people and He loved them enough to send His Only Son Jesus Christ to die on a cross for them to set them free from the power of sin and death.
