The Gift of Problems

I recently found the following quote by Jim Stovall:

Problems may only be avoided by exercising good judgment.
Good judgment may only be gained by experiencing life’s problems.

Very true, isn’t it, as we do only become the people we are through experiencing challenging/difficult times in life as well as good ones.

In Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians 10:13 (NLT) we read:

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

So remember that while life’s problems may challenge and test you, God will not let you face anything He does not think you can cope with, with His help. It’s only by facing problems in life that we gain experience and knowledge, and it’s by sharing that knowledge that we can teach others about God’s love for them, because we have experience His unfailing love in our own lives.
