We hear a lot these days about “assets“…company assets, the assets of football clubs, personal assets. So today I want to focus on personal assets…not physical ones, but personal characteristics.
So have a think about what you consider to be your own personal assets or characteristics for a few moments.
I recently read that:
The most useful asset of a person is not a head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, with ears open to listen, and hands willing to help.
Do your assets match up to that? Are you full of love, willing to listen to others, and happy to offer a hand to help others?
I pray that even if we don’t match-up to those characteristics today, we may, through God’s help, attain them and use them to honour God.
