The second step to recommitting your life to God is to turn from sinful and selfish ways to follow God and his ways.
That is, we need to leave our sinful and selfish ways behind us, and start afresh by following God’s way. Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe.” (Mark 1:15)
Yesterday was about admitting or confessing our sins, and today is about seeking repentance for our sins and turning to God instead. It’s fine to confess your sins, but if you aren’t really sorry for our those sins, your confession is worthless.
So today, take that second step on the road to recommitting your life to God, by turning away from sins and instead turning to God.
