Please teach me

I don’t know about you, but I still struggle to be patient. I’ve often thought that being a perfectionist makes me even more impatient, as it means I expect perfection from myself all the time, and when I fail at something, or don’t do it to the time or quality I expect, I get annoyed and frustrated with myself.

Thankfully, God knows and understands that the worries of our lives, our families, our finances, our work, all combine to make it difficult for us to be patient when we’re struggling with life.

Colossians 3:12-13 (NIV)

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

I need patience, do you?

Just remember God can help us find patience even during our most difficult of day, so turn to Him, and ask Him to teach you how to be patient, particularly during times of trial.
