Holding a grudge is like letting someone to live rent free in your head – Nicky Gumbel

God tells us to forgive others when they hurt or upset us, but we are only human, and therefore we can find it hard to do that particularly when we’ve been hurt by so-called friends.

It’s easy to hold onto those hurts, but when you do they will eat away at you like a cancer – They be constantly on your mind; you’ll start imagining additional things that were said or done; and you’ll get more annoyed/angry.

So in the same way that you wouldn’t let someone live in your home rent free, don’t give grudges the opportunity to make themselves at home in your mind by forgiving those you hurt or upset you.
