How to brighten your day #28

Are you looking for simple ways to encourage your heart and nourish your soul?

In the last while I’ve given you some ideas which will hopefully inspire you to implement them in your own life, and over the coming weeks I’ll share some others with you.

So here’s today’s suggestion:

Compliment others

you know how good it makes you feel when others notice the and acknowledge the things you do, especially when you’ve put a lot of thought and effort into it. So do the same for others and compliment them.

A word of warning though, do not highlight or point out things the person may not want noticed. e.g. Don’t compliment weigh loss if the person has lost weight due to ill-health or a miscarriage. Only compliment things that you know it’s safe to compliment someone on, such as saying “great work” or “good job” as those kind of statements aren’t likely to offend.

So cheer your day, by lifting some else’s spirits by complimenting them.
