In the last while I’ve given you some ideas which will hopefully inspire you to implement them in your own life, and over the coming weeks I’ll share some others with you.
So here’s today’s suggestion:
Talk to yourself at the start of each day!
You probably think I’ve lost it as why would I tell you to talk to yourself! Well I don’t think I’ve lost it, but I do think it’s a good idea to remind yourself at the start of the day, the kind of person you want to be. e.g. Remind yourself to be patience and understanding with those who try your patience; reach out and show love and compassion to someone in need.
Sometimes we can be so busy that we forget what our targets and plans for ourselves are and can lapse into old, bad habits. So start each day by looking in the mirror, and reminding yourself of the kind of person you want to be, that will reinforce your aims and maybe just remind you of those aims later in the day.
