For the last few weeks I have woken just after 5am every single night. That in itself is annoying enough, however what makes it even more annoying is that all that starts going through my mind at that point are thoughts about things that upset or worry me and potential issues and problems. With all those things then going through my mind, it makes it incredibly difficult to get back to sleep.
Why is it that when we’re tired or feeling under the weather, everything always seems so much worse and more difficult to bear? Then when we’re feeling better we can think about everything more logically and sensibly and realise things really aren’t as bad as we thought at 5am!
