In the last while I’ve given you some ideas which will hopefully inspire you to implement them in your own life, and over the coming weeks I’ll share some others with you.
So here’s today’s suggestion:
Change your routine
We all have routines which we follow rigidly every time we undertake those tasks. So how able changing your routine, make it a bit different to keep your focus on your task instead of routinely going through the same motions each time.
For example, if when you get up in the morning you always have a shower, then get dresser and then have breakfast, why not have your breakfast first, then shower and get dressed. If like me you hate doing housework but obviously do it because you know you have to, why not liven it up a bit by listening to your favourite music which you do the cleaning or ironing.
These are just a couple of examples of how you could change your routine, but try making changes to any part of your life where you have a routine. Just the very act of making even a small change to your routine will make you think about your actions and potentially help you focus/concentrate on those tasks that little bit more, and hopefully, make them a little bit more enjoyable.
