It’s been a while since we’ve been away anywhere on holiday, so I’ve been thinking about some countries/cities I’ve always wanted to go to but as yet have not visited. I thought I’d share my list with you and the reasons why I’d like to visit these places, although as you’ll see some of my reasons are a bit bizarre!

So in no particular order, here’s my 5 places:

South Africa

Nelson Mandela was such an inspiration, I’d love to visit his homeland.

Hong Kong

The mix of British culture and Chinese traditions sounds amazing and that mixed with superb shopping and sightseeing opportunities, is something I want experience for myself

New Zealand

The landscape and climate in many ways reflect those I’m used to in Scotland, so maybe that’s why New Zealand has always jumped out at me as somewhere I’d like to visit.

Dublin

The closest place to home on my list, but I place I’ve never been to but heard great reports of it been a fantastic place to visit.

Dublin

Kuala Lumpur

I have always just loved the name of this place and it’s always been a place that’s intrigued me, so I want to visit it!

Kuala Lumpar

Yes, Cape Town almost made my top 5 places! South Africa is a place I’ve heard a lot about in the past from someone I used to work beside. Maybe I should have made a top 6 list 🙂

  2. Cape Town is in South Africa by the way 🙂
