How to brighten your day #93

Are you looking for simple ways to encourage your heart and nourish your soul?

In the last while I’ve given you some ideas which will hopefully inspire you to implement them in your own life, and over the coming weeks I’ll share some others with you.

So here’s today’s suggestion:

Wake up twenty minutes earlier


It may seem counter intuitive as if you’re anything like me, you’ll want to sleep for as long as possible. So please just trust me on this one…

The first hour of your day sets the mood for your whole day. So if you start your day rushing to wherever you’re going, I’m sure that your day will carry on going downhill from there on.

Instead start your day off slowly by getting up 20 minutes earlier so you can  get yourself dressed and eat your breakfast without having to rush around or gulp down your food.

If you have a peaceful start to your day, it will go a long way to helping the rest your day to continue peacefully.
