I came across the following quote recently
Can you imagine what it would be like for someone to utter those words to you, “Because of you I didn’t give up”? That must be an amazing feeling.
However nice it would be for someone to say those words to me, I do not live my life to get accolades or praise from others. I therefore hope that whatever I do in my life, I may do it in such a way that I may inspire someone else to live their life to the full.
