This week in my blog posts I’ve spoken about how we need to spend some quiet time with God, just reading the bible and praying.
Let me ask you a question – When do you pray? Do you pray when you want God to do something for you, when you’re in trouble, or do you pray to spend some quality time talking to God and listening to what He has to say to you?
Our relationship with God must not be a one way relationship, where we only approach Him when we need something from Him. We must keep God at the centre of all we do, praying constantly, seeking direction and guidance from Him.
Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
