When people treat you badly, say things about you or to you which are hurtful or untrue, it can be so very easy to react in anger.
When you’re emotions get the better of you, we can all be guilty of saying or doing things we regret, either immediately or later once we’ve calmed down. However it’s usually more helpful to both ourselves and the others involved if we all just take a few moments to calm down and reassess the situation before you get dragged into a shouting or slagging match.
So be the bigger person, stay calm and stay in control of your emotions and your reaction, and more than anything, think before you respond.
