I may not be the most outgoing of people. I may not share my feelings or emotions. I may not share what I’m thinking. None of those things mean I am blind or deaf to what is going on around me.

I think everyone thinks that those of us who keep to ourselves have no idea what goes on round about us, or even what others say about us. If only they knew! They make a real fool of themselves sometimes when they think we aren’t listening. Sometimes I just want to scream at them that I know what they are saying and what they think of me and that they really don’t know me at all
