“He/she has great spirit” – I’m sure we’ve all heard that said of someone. I’m never quite sure what is meant by that.
However, when it refers to our relationship with God, I do know what it means:
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. ~ 2 Timothy 1:7
So don’t be afraid of anything or anyone, because God has given us the power of love, and love can overcome anything.
