Seeing the future

There are people who claim they can foresee the future, and can tell what the future holds for individual people. I’m not sure I would want to see into my future, I’d rather just wait and see what comes my way.

If you knew you were going to die on a certain day, how would you act? How would you approach that day?

Jesus knew the time was approaching when he would die. He even told his disciples several times what lay ahead for Him:

Matthew 20:17-19 (NLV)

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He talked also to the twelve followers by the side of the road. He said, “Listen! We are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be handed over to the religious leaders and to the teachers of the Law. They will say that He must be put to death. They will hand Him over to the people who do not know God. They will make fun of Him and will beat Him. They will nail Him to a cross. Three days later He will be raised to life.”

How would you react if you knew this is what your future held? I leave my future in God’s hands, how about you?
