Easter morning! Celebrate His name!

Easter Morning! Jesus lives again!

Early one Sunday morning women of Galilee went to the tomb where Jesus lay.

When they arrived there they all found to their horror that the stone at the entrance had been rolled away.

Bravely they looked inside to look for His broken body only to find it was no longer there.

Frantic, they looked around to see why the tomb was empty, frightened and driven by despair, by despair!

Where is Jesus? Where’s his body gone?

What has happened? What is going on?

All of a sudden there were angels from Heaven they were asking the women what was wrong.

Why are you searching for the body of Jesus ? Can’t you see? He is risen, He is gone.

Don’t you remember that He said this would happen, that He soon would be risen from the dead?

This is His resurrection, just as He always promised, all this is just as Jesus said, as He said.

Easter morning! Celebrate His name!

Easter Morning! Jesus lives again!

Joyful, the women ran to tell the disciples that their Saviour was living once again.

Such was His power, even death could not hold Him, they all knew life would never be the same.

Jesus had triumphed, He would now live forever, “Jesus Lives!’ was the women’s joyful cry.

This was the message of that first Easter morning, that because of our Lord we’d never die, never die!

He is risen! Celebrate His name!

He is risen! Jesus lives again!

Jesus lives again!
