When we’re young, I’m we all were read stories by our parents at bedtime. When we go to school, we’re given stories to read ourselves and encouraged to read more stories ourselves.

I love reading, I always have, I think it was the fictional stories I was told or read that really caught my imagination and made me want to read more.

Were you inspired by the stories you read as youngster? Did you ever think you could write a bestseller or maybe I should ask did you ever wish you could write a bestseller?

I said the stories I read as  youngster, were fictional stories, and they are still my favourite – I like crime/detective stories best.

But stories don’t have to be fictional to be best sellers. In fact the best-selling books ever was not fictional, the bible! You may find some lists of best sellers do not include the bible, which I don’t understand, as if it’s not a book what is it!

Stories of love, hatred, instructions for life, adversity, parenting, deceit, war, life lessons, miracles…you name it, the bible has a story about it! So if you’ve never read the best-selling book of all time (or even if you have), why not start reading it today. Don’t be put of by the language in the bible, as many of the versions that are now available read just as stories, so you’d never realise you were even reading the bible if it wasn’t for all bible characters being mentioned!
