I’m sure we all get caught up in everyday tasks, and in doing so can find ourselves complaining or moaning about things that we have to do, or things other people have or haven’t done. Does that sound familiar?

Have you ever found yourself moaning about trivial stuff that really is meaningless or pointless., but then felt very humble when you see or hear someone with much greater challenges that you, achieving or obtaining something which they thought was out of their reach?  For example, a homeless person’s gratitude when someone gives them some food or warm clothing; or a person who has walking difficulties successfully managing to walk (slowly) to their destination, which may only be a few steps from where they started.

It makes us feel humble and ashamed to have got annoyed or frustrated by the trivial problems in our lives doesn’t it. After all our problems are insignificant in comparison to the life or death situations other have to deal with on a daily basis.

So let’s try not to get caught up in the trivial things in life, as there’s so many huge issues in our world that we really should be focusing on.
