Have a look around you. Look at the people you see. How many are on their phones, not necessarily talking to anyone, but simply on some social media site ‘chatting’ with friends or family?
Next time you’re outside, do the same, look around and see what many around are doing. Again I suspect you’ll find the majority are probably using their mobile phone.
We’re probably all guilty of being ‘on’ our phones far more these days than we should be, so I’m sure we all make sure we never get into a situation where we get the dreaded ‘low battery’ message.
But consider this
We try to do so much these days, running around from one thing to another, keeping going because we don’t want to let anyone down. We put on a ‘public face’ so others won’t see how much we’re struggling with life, even when we’re exhausted and find we’ve no energy to carry on with life.
We’re guilty of taking better care of our phones than we do ourselves sometimes, aren’t we? So please stop, have a think about what percentage you’d say your own personal battery would register at. If you’d say your battery would say ‘low battery’, it’s time for you to take a time out from life, and look after yourself, your health and your well-being, because you need a break.
