Still here

Congratulations, you’ve made to at least 7:30pm on Tuesday 10 December 2019 – that’s the date/time this blog post was published!

Have you ever gone through a time in your life when you’ve seriously wondered whether you’d make it to today? Maybe you’ve had some serious or life threatening health issue, or have suffered a mental health issue that has caused you to think there was a very real chance you would not be alive today.

The good news is, you have made it to today, and the reason you are still here is because God wants you to be here. In fact, I’d go further than that by saying it suggests God still has a plan for you, as He’s got work He wants you to do.

God has planned our lives before us, so even if you feel there’s no hope for your future, God may well have a completely different plan for you. You are still here because you are God’s ‘work-in-progress’, so watch this space, you still have life to live!

  1. Beautiful Lord, wonderful Saviour I know for sure all of my days are held in your hand crafted into your perfect plan. You gently call me into your presence, guiding me by your Holy Spirit. Teach me dear Lord to live all of my life through your eyes. I’m captured by your holy calling, set me apart, I know you’re drawing me to yourself. Lead me Lord I pray. Take me, mould me, use me, fill me, I give my life to the potter’s hand. Call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me, I give my life to the potter’s hand. (Salvation Army Song Book) Lead me Lord, Lead me in thy righteousness. Make thy way plain before my face. (x2) For it is thou Lord, thou Lord only that makest me dwell in safety. (x2) (Salvation Army Sing To The Lord series 11 volume ?) Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters wherever you would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander and my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Saviour. (Victory Church)
