As a church, we can sometimes be guilty of trying to reach everyone. But is that actually something we can actually achieve?
I’d suggest that, just as with many things in life, it would be better to take small steps by reaching one person, and helping them to find God. Then when one person finds God, reach out to another person, and when they accept God into their lives, reach out to someone else. This is definitely something each one of us can do ourselves. – Which is kind of what I’m trying to do with this blog – I don’t focus on the number of people who follow or read my blog. I don’t even bother about how many people like or comment on individual blog posts.
My ‘just one’ thing is therefore for one of my blog posts to bring someone closer to God, or challenge them to find out more about God. What ‘just one’ thing can you do for God? Remember we can all do something to bring ‘just one’ person to God.
God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.
