We celebrate Christ’s birth on the 25th December, Christmas Day, each year. Although we celebrate Jesus’ birth on just one day a year, that doesn’t mean we should forget about Christ every other day of the year.
Yes, celebrating Jesus’ birth is important, but just as important, if not more important, is understanding why Jesus was born on that first Christmas Day, and understanding that God knew and understood what would ultimate happen to Jesus when he came to live as one of us.
God did all this because he loves us. Christmas Day 2020 may have passed, but God still wants us to celebrate Christ, and his love for us every day of the year.
